The title of the collection, "Die Neue Moderne" (The New Modern), draws inspiration from the frequent use of "Die Neue" in the names of new design institutions and movements, such as "Die Neue Nationalgalerie" (The New National Gallery) in Berlin, designed by Bauhaus architect Mies Van Der Rohe, and "Die Neue Typographie" (The New Typography) by Jan Tschichold. "Die Neue" symbolizes new and progressive thinking, which I associate with innovation and timelessness.
